Ray is a Selkie and the lover of Beck Keeler. She gives birth to Gareth Keeler.
Physical Description[]
Ray is incredibly beautiful. She has silver hair. Her skin is translucent and so pale it's almost blue. Her body is lithe and graceful. There are gills on both sides her neck that look like slender rows of silver slits. Her eyes are very large and pale gray, like the sea.

Early History[]
Ray was captured by Gardnerian men. When the realized they had lost her skin, they tossed her overboard. Beck discovered her drifting in the ocean. Because Seklies can't transform without their skin, Ray is trapped in her human form and cannot go home. She and Beck became lovers, and about a year and half later, she became pregnant.
Wandfasted[]
Beck brings her and a newborn Gareth to Vale Gardner's cottage on the Voltic Sea. He hopes to hide Ray and Gareth there because it is no longer safe for her to be on his ship.
